Paradise Island Gift Tin and Card

********* BLOG CANDY DETAILS HERE!!!!**********

Well, today is THE day. Mary Elizabeth are on our way to Atlanta to see the Jo Bros! She is beside herself about the concert. I, on the other hand, am planning a trip to Archivers, and Rubber Stamp Fantasy in Marietta on the way there and then a trip to IKEA on the way home on Thursday! Definitely a win/win sort of trip! Actually, I'll enjoy HER enjoying the concert. It is great to do something special for my super sweet gal!

Last week I made this card using the Paradise Stamp set from Artful Inkables. I was prowling around looking for something for another project and came across this green raffia. It inspired me to make this little matching cylinder tin to go with that card. The raffia is adhered to a piece of natural twill tape with sticky tape then applied to the tin using the same thing. The paper is once again from BG Urban Couture and the ribbon is SU Bashful Blue grosgrain. The main image is colored with Copics and a bit of white Zig Painty pen is added to highlight the coconuts.
This little tag displays the sentiment "I'm Coco-nuts About You" and had a portion of the palm leave stamped and colored with Copic markers. The hardware is retired SU HHH (Antique Brass.) I'm considering putting some bite size Mounds or Almond Joys in it to send to someone special! It's ALWAYs A Stampin' Good Time! Take care!
