May 27th marks the one month anniversary of "A Stampin' Good Time." I sure appreciate each of you who have stopped by for a visit (some of whom have honored me with some really sweet comments)! In celebration of my 1 month in blogdom, I am offering a random drawing for some really scrumptious blog candy- crushed velvet ribbon from Maya Roads in 6 yummy colors, 2 dotted organdy ribbons from May Arts, and some bling from K & Co. How do you get the chance to partake....? Well, anyone that has left a comment during this first month (from 4/27- 5/27) will automatically find their name in the pot, one entry for each comment. Participating with the scenario in this entry counts as 2 entries. So read on for a little blogging fun: I got to questioning the other day, will any generation think of my hobby (passion/obsession) as "the ancient art of rubber stamping," will they say "what were they thinking?" The question I pose to each of you: If we were to make a stamping time capsule to be opened in the 22nd century, what 1 item would you include that would be indicative as to what you are doing right now. It can include supplies, tools, projects, technique- the skies the limit. Now let's not get technical, we are to assume that, yes, it would remain sealed and, yes, someone would open it. No, you could not sneak back to reclaim you circle scalloped punch! The drawing will take place on May 28th at 9am. Again, thanks for the fun this first month. Hopefully, this is only the start of Good Times to come. Take care!

Congratulations on your first month of blogging! In my stamping time capsule would be Stardust gel pens. I just love the shimmer they give and they seem to add something to my cards that wasn't there before.

Interesting question...hmmm....I would put one of the SU punch boxes - LOL...it has the stamps, punch and ink right in there so I am set since it has it all LOL
YEAH... 1 month and going strong..
I would have to put in the Roses in Winter stamp set.. 1 because it's retiring which has made me very sad and 2 because I love it so much...
Hmmm....primas because I use them so much!
Congrats on your first month of blogging. Wow..that's a tough question. I guess my one item I'd put in my time capsule would be a technique book. That way they could try and do some of these amazing things for themselves. lol
I smell RIBBON !!!! Im a(ribbon) addict !!!Congratulations on your first month of bloging!!!!I would deff put my ribbon Or just a little bit cause I CANNOT live without it !!!!!
Very fun question! I would put my Cricut in there (but only if I had another one to use while it was in there!!) Thanks!

Very interesting question. I think I'd put my favourite finished card in there.
Congratulations on your first month! I think that I would put my favorite card in a capsule with some brads and ribbon that I always use on cards :) TFS
Love your rocket ship card! Difficult question...Hmmmm, I guess it would be my Sock Monkey Stamp. Those seem to be "timeless", it will be interesting to see if they are still popular in the future.
Congratulations and I love the time capsule question. I would put my Stazon black ink pad in it. Also a roll of doubleback tape.
Congrats on your 1 month anniversary!! WOO HOO!! Okay, don't kick me for this, but I think I'd have to just put a copy of the SU! catalog in the capsule, that way they could see everything I'm using AND I don't have to give up any of my stuff! lol
I would put some patterned or designer paper in it.
That way you could see how much the styles have changed. I love a vintage look.
Congrats to you! I would defenitly have to include primas. So pretty! But I'd make sure to keep some for myself.LOL
Congrats on your 1 month blogging!
I would have to say ribbons...i just love them, they add so much to a card!! TFS your great candy!!
I would put a bottle of gamsol with a set of prismacolor pencils.
I think I would add the the capsule a set of clear stamps and an acrylic mount. I think they are a sign of the times. :)
Hey girl.
I just thought I would say hi.
Your cards are beautiful,
but they are even
prettier in person.
Congrats on your first month.
:]

Congratulations, it is great fun isn't it. I have had my blog for a little less than a month. Took me a few days to get the hang of it, but finding great new blogs every day. Glad I found yours. If I could only put one item in a time capsule it would be a sheet of pattern paper, I am a pattern paper junkie.
Congratulations on one month!!!
No question what I would leave...
RIBBON!
Ha! Has to be a Crop-A-Dile - how confusing would that be??!! (I love mine, but crafters of the future would probably wonder...)
Congratulations on your first month of blogging!! I would have to put in my Cuttlebug!! It is my FAVORITE Stamping Tool!!
Wow! You pose such interesting questions. I think I would have to leave the crop-a-dile too. I'd let them figure out how to pull teeth with it :-)
Congrats on your first month...isn't it fun?!! Hmm....I think I would put my SU markers in there....can't live without 'em!!
Hmmmm...
we could really stump them by leaving Gamsol and, what else, a stump!
What a fun idea! I would actually just put in one of my favorite cards with my favorite technique at the time. I'm more of a scrapper than a card maker, but I do enjoy looking at cards! Anything with bling or fun technique is very fun to look at! thanks for the blog candy offer!
i could definitely use more ribbon & bling - haha - well, i guess i should say "hi" first (how rude of me to think of scrap supplies before manners) - haha! to answer the question....i would definitely have my ranger vintage ink - hot cocoa - i seriously could not live without the stuff - LOVE IT!!!!
I would put Trudee's knot tutorial in the time capsule. Nothing like seeing it live and in color!!
(Thanks for directing us to that tutorial...it's a life saver!)
I think I would leave a stamp-a-ma-jig...
let them try to figure out how to use it :)
I would leave Dazzlin' Diamonds...to show them we like "sparkley" things!
I would put in a variety of stuff to include paper, decorative scissors, a few stamps, ink pad, and a card I made.
Thanks for sharing your blog with us this month - Congrats.
