An A Musing Post

I know that title is a bad pun but thought is was appropriate for sharing another card I made yesterday using A Muse stamps. This time I used this cute little Elzybells in the little "bug." My hubby saw this card and said he liked it but when he read the sentiment "The road to a friend's house is never long" he stated that it might be long if you were puttin' down it in that old bug- always the jokester!!! This is a very simple card made from an A Muse Lime peel Band note card. The cute little image is stamped directly on the card and colored with Copic markers. I added some highlights to the front wheel and the back of the car with a white Zig Painty marker. The sun is from the Quickutz Sunshine alphabet (retired) which I used to die cut A Muse 4-bar notepads from the Kitchen Collection. The extra "rays" are doodled with Straedler fine tip markers and sparkle comes from Dazzling Diamonds adhered with Quickie Glue pen. The little ribbon is A Muse. I actually only made a card front with the A Muse note card so the backside of my coloring and the ends of the ribbon would not show through to the inside of the card. The little felt flower is SU and that brad is American Craft (my most favorite brand of brad, ever.) Easy peasy and ready to go to it's recipient who I already have in mind *wink*!

Speaking of A Muse... Have you heard of A MUSE A PALOOZA? Well, it is a stamp extravaganza from July 7th- 13th. There is stamping fun galore during this event! Right now there is a blog set up for challenges, fun games and PRIZES leading up to this event!!! To participate in the festivities, be sure to register right away! There is no charge or strings attached to registering (short of being kept up-to-date on fun happenings and, did I say, PRIZES)!!!! If you register, I would love to have you put me, Beth Thomas, down as your referral. They are doing different contests (yes, with PRIZES!!!!!) for folks with the most referrals.
