Flocked with Cattitude

In between cleaning house and tending to my girls, I am having THE MOST FUN over at SCS with the Dare To Get Dirty challenges. I was able to complete 2 out of 4 yesterday but I want to go back and give yesterday's sketch a try later on (that's the nice thing is there is no time limit set for uploading your projects.) Today the very talented Lauren Meader aka mytime on SCS challenged us to using Fun Flock on a card. I own several colors of Fun Flock having purchased some from my lss and some from Ellen Hutson's webstore. I have played with it a couple of times and I have to admit that I am not very good with it. The key, I feel, is to have the right bold solid image to stamp in either a glue pad or use Heat & Stick powder. When I saw this challenge tho my Sprinkle kitty relaxing in the inner tube from The Cat's Pajama's was the first image that popped into my mind. After stamping the image, I colored in with Stampin' Write markers, colored over the float with a Sakura Clear Glaze pen and added sparkle with the Clear Stardust pen. Once that was dry I took a Sakura Quickie Glue pen and added adhesive just to the area that I wished to Flock. After adding the flock I pressed own on the image then went around it with my tweezers to kind of pack it in within the lines of the image. Finally, I added some bling to her collar in the way of A Muse micro twinkle dots and there she is- a fuzzy Miss Sprinkle. Well, I'd better get a move on and finish this house. Hopefully, I'll have time to stamp later! Take care!
